Hardcore scammer calls 1x a day for MANY days. Needs Community Blocking!
These people have been calling for years. Why do they think I would be remotely interested in them? I've pressed 1 to connect with a person and ask them to remove my number but they just hang up on me. Yeah, that's the kind of customer service I want!
This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line. When you get to an operator, the operator will only provide "the Philippines" as their physical address, and refuses to provide a phone number, both violations of the TCPA. Their recording states that based on the victim's revenues and payment history for the past several months, the victim is now eligible for a guaranteed low interest loan with no collateral or fees. This is clearly a scam, as no legitimate financial institution will conduct business this way. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.
231-216-2291 just called our business. Caller ID came up as "Frankfort MI". Knew right away that it was more than likely a scam call. Didn't even bother to answer. Let it go to voicemail. Sure enough, it was a scam. Blocked the number immediately.
