I periodically get calls from Better Merchant from various numbers. I'm on the do not call list, I know it's a scam, I don't answer, and yet they keep calling. Why don't they get shut down?

Another day, another stupid, moron, dimwit, nitwit, nincompoop robo caller. Stupid people just don't get it that our Panasonic Call Block is on high alert. Every time we block their stupid #, nincompoops call us on another # and we are paying $180.00 each month to AT&T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupidity now the badge of honor these days.

Same phone number is used for various scams. Scum of the earth.

Sales calls about cc processing for certain industries.

This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPa by failing to have an operator on the line when the call is answered, and still further by playing a recorded message without an operator on the line. They further violate the TCPa by failing to provide a physical address and a phone number when asked. Their recording states that there is recent legislation requiring discounts on credit card services, and that no processors but them are passing these on. This is clearly a scam, as no legitimate financial organization markets in this way. Do not provide this scammer with any financial information.
