Weird. So they just called our firehouse, and someone with a very thick foreign accent told me that they were calling about their support our computers. I could tell that this was junk right away, as I take care of the computers personally at our department. I tried to play along though, and get more information. I said "Oh really? Ok!", and then they randomly hung up without another word. Kind of weird, because I left them the opening they should have been waiting for.

Of course calling the number back (I was going to play dumb again and ask for help), just got me a recorded message saying that the call could not be completed. :-(

3/01/16 3:58 Just got a call from this number. (I am waiting for a legitimate Techcall) He said are you aware that you have a virus, we have detected it for the last several weeks. He said I have a Mac.
I said no that can't be, and did he read the report I filled out.
He said go to your desktop, I did. He said you should see a picture of your mom.
I said Excuse me? (thinking i misheard him)
He said "You mother fucker." Then hung up.

I received a call from this number, the caller ID said Fort Myers FL. The guy was telling me something about needing service for my windows operating system on my computer. I told him no, I don't need any help or the services they are offering, I am not interested. He continued trying to talk, I told him no, please take me off your list and don't call again, he said "ok, I will call again tomorrow." I tried to tell him no you better not call again and if you do I will report you, but he hung up in the middle of me trying to tell him that.
This call concerns me due to a recent scam I've heard about, where they call you and act like they are from the computer company or service you go through. They tell you there is something wrong with your computer and that they will guide you through fixing it. They then have you get on your computer where they do something that ends up locking your computer. Then they tell you that they need to provide further service and you must pay them for these further services. So your essentially paying them to unlock a computer that they locked on you, and then I'm sure once you provide your payment option to them, they use your credit or debit card number your provided and steal all the money they can out of your account. So this call really concerned me that this may be something along those lines. There are too many scam artist these days and you never know anymore. I don't trust callers like this.
Please look into these guys and see what it is they are doing. I did try to call them back but it said the number is not in service. I did not catch a name, the guy spoke with a foreign accent and it was hard to understand him, and again the phone call showed up on my caller id with the phone number provided as well as saying Fort Myers FL. This call was at 12:20p.m. Central time on February 26th 2016.

They just called and said I needed something for my windows system, as there was a problem and they would help me. I couldn't understand the guy very well, but I figured it was a scam because I had heard of a scam lately where they call, tell you there is a problem with your computer, then they have you get on your computer and they guide you through their "process" which is supposedly going to fix your problem. What they are really doing is locking your computer up. Then they tell you that they are unable to fix the problem, and in order for them to fix what is occurring you have to pay them because it is much more detailed then what they thought, when really its because they locked your computer. So when you try to get back in you cant. People are then paying them the money to "fix" their computer, and they are getting paid for scamming you. I'm sure they are also then taking the payment info you gave them and taking it upon themselves to steal all of your money. So I said no, I don't need your services and asked him to take me off their calling list and not call again, he said, "Ok, I will call again tomorrow." I tried saying no you wont, I've asked you not to call again, and if you continue to call, I will report you, however sometime in the middle of me trying to say that he hung up. Boy he better hope they don't call me again. I did try to call the number back to make sure they knew I would report them if I received another phone call from them, but it says this number is not in service. Huh, go figure. Fucking SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!

They called our office and when I asked how I could help them, a man called me a "DUMB F***ING LADY" and told me to "F*** OFF" before hanging up on me. Never said what they wanted; only yelled at me.
