I have been getting a lot of these calls to my cell number. They are saying you can lower your credit card interest rate. I always press "1" so that I can ask them to remove me from their calling list. When I request this they hang up on me. I then block that number from my phone but inevitably I get the same call from another number soon afterwards. Today it was from this number. I hit "1" and asked the man to please remove me from his phone list and he came back at me with an obscenity. I was sure I must have heard him incorrectly so I said, "Pardon me?". He repeated the sentence and I did hear him correctly! He made reference to female anatomy. So I proceeded to tell him he was a scumbag and hung up. I then called the number back and it said it was a non working number. I am surprised because he clearly sounded like he was in a call center. Apparently these scam call centers hire scammers that are aware they are working a scam business. Scary stuff.
Called, did not recognize #, did not answer - did not lv a msg! - I live in Charleston, SC!! They must be calling every state in the union!!
Called my cell phone (a Montana based number )
Did not answer because I know nobody in Florida.
I live in the Portland, OR metro area and just received a call from this number. The "caller" was using a pre-recorded message that said (paraphrasing): "Please call us about an urgent matter regarding your credit card. There is nothing wrong with the account, but today's the last day to receive a lower interest rate. Press 1 to talk to a live operator." Of course it's total BS. They've spoofed the phone number and are phishing, so don't fall for it!
SCAMMER! I called this FLORIDA number 239-872-8829 back and got "Call cannot be completed as dialed".
I got this garbage call while at work in CALIFORNIA on a Tuesday morning, 6/14/16!
