Caller ID said Breast Cancer. The American Cancer does not call people. It's a scam just like the one where they claim to be the IRS and if you don't pay them what you owe you will be arrested. The IRS, the FBI don't call you, ever. They send you a letter. Most of the people being threatened don't owe a penny. I got one of these calls and hung up as soon as I realized what it was. Apparently, these scammers think people suddenly get stupid as they age.

I don't usually answer my phone when I don't recognize the number; however, this time I did. A "woman" asked how I was ... once I said "Fine," and the caller began talking, I realized it was a robo-voice, NOT a real person. I will not give any of my personal information to so-called "charities" over the phone. Let them find another sucker!

Called repeatedly with nobody on the other end when answered, so I called them back. The answering message gave me the opportunity to press 1 to be added to their do-not-call list. So far they have not called back.

240-245-9501 called twice a day for weeks - no message on my machine. Calling on weekends, too. I have my mega-decible emergency boat-horn parked next to my phone. One of these times - I'll be here. And whomsoever will be in the Emergency-Room...

Hung up on me after I got a word in edgewise with the jabbermouth unwilling to allow it. I was trying to ask what % the Women's Breast Cancer Society got on every raised dollar. Apparently I offended her. No answer either. Crooks.

Recently listened to my phone ring for over an hour with this number showing up on caller id. Called the number from another phone but no answer.
I'm not impressed if it is a charity because they have bought services from a lo-rent calling company. Plus, the call is from Glenn Dale Maryland. Google Phone Lines are everywhere.

Received a call from 240-245-9501 at 3:33 P.M. Unfortunately I was very rude as I am bombarded with scam call all the time. Most of the time I don't answer calls from unknown numbers but I did this time. A lady gave her name and asked, " how are you today." I replied, "okay what are you selling?" She stated she was calling on behalf of the Women's Breast Cancer Society. Again unfortunately, I cannot be sure when a call is a scam or really a charity therefore what I can give I do so locally..
