This was illegal automated robo-call about how they've granted me a limited time to enroll in their health insurance plan.
I picked it up and the recording began before I even said anything! My usual strategy has been to answer the call, but immediately put it on mute do the robo-call thinks there's no one on the other end. I guess the spammers are getting smarter.
As a dead-giveaway that this is a scam, they didn't mention the name of the company or any other identifying information. I'm tired of dealing with robo-calls so I hung up without even trying to talk to a real person, though it's doubtful I would have gotten any information from a person. Do they really expect people to give person medical or financial data to a random stranger that calls in the middle of the afternoon?
I almost hate to say it, but if you don't live near Maryland, it's probably safe to block these 240 numbers.
As always, they called my cell phone which is on the FTC and State of FL do not call list.
