I did not answer. I called the number back and it's been disconnected. This means the original caller used a computer program to call through a fake number. I blocked the number.

they called but just hung up

This number just popped up. It was a "We need to talk to you about your credit card" call. I pressed 1 to talk to the operator so I could tell them to remove me from their call list. The person who picked up told me "That is impossible." and hung up.
