automated telemarketer. Connected with attendant and asked to be taken off call list (I am already on Do not call list with CRTC). Attendant continuously very rude/profane. This has to be stopped.

i have received several alls from this number, I never answer nut one thing i did is , Any call you receive like this and you see its coming from a computor that is calling you, do this HIT THE POUND NUMBER ABOUT TWENTY TIME REAL FAST, and you'll find they will never recall your number becuse it screwed up the computor. and your number is now off their list. Thank god it helped me. Good luck if you try this tecknique.

j'ai appelé Bell Canada pour faire bloquer ce numéro de téléphone et ils ne peuvent rien faire, On m'a conseiller de faire *57 après l'appel et appeler 911 afin qu'il fasse une investigation pour fraude ... à suivre

Juste pr vous avisez, que vs n'avez pas bien été conseillé, car en plus de ne pas être gratuit, le service *57(service étoile qui se nomme DÉPISTEUR) est seulement utile pr
les cas extrêmes.

Comment utiliser le Dépisteur
Raccrochez après avoir reçu l’appel menaçant ou malveillant. Décrochez et composez *57 (ou 1157 sur un téléphone à cadran).
Vous entendrez un enregistrement vous indiquant si l'appel a été retracé. Raccrochez.

Trucs
Le service Dépisteur ne fonctionne que pour le dernier appel reçu.
Le service Dépisteur fonctionne pour les appels faisant l'objet d'un blocage de l’affichage.
Bell communiquera le numéro de l’appelant retracé au service de police, si celui-ci en fait la demande.
Des frais de 5,00 $ sont imputés pour chaque utilisation du Dépisteur qui mène à une identification positive, jusqu'à concurrence de 10,00 $ par mois pour chaque ligne téléphonique. Les frais sont facturés, que le numéro soit demandé ou non par le service de police. L’utilisation du Dépisteur ne garantit pas que le service de police acceptera d’intervenir ou donnera suite à votre utilisation du Dépisteur.

They called I didn't answer
I called the number and they said they were a finacial institution even claimed to be M/C
I told them they were a fraud
They said I called them so they couldn't be a fraud
I told them I would report this number to the RCMP

I don't know why people think that just because they are on The DO NOT CALL List they think they won't be phoned by these people. They don't look you up in the bood and call, they use a computer that goes through every number there is until they hit one that works. Doesn't take any time at all and they can go through a whole town in notime to get workable numbers.

They wanted to offer me a lower interest rate on my cibc visa. I dont even do any business with cibc. When i told them him that he told me i was wasting his f'in time. Asked for his manager he hung up on me. When i called back the number is disconnected.

These people think we are stupid financial institutions credit cards etc to not call people or do business over the phone this way there is a good system not now to catch these people how cool is that.

This outfit calls constantly and is a real pain in the ass. How can we put a stop to this harassment? These calls interrupt whatever i am doing and are wasting my time. Glad to hear that someone has taken this to the CRTC. Let's see what they are prepared to do.

If you are sooooo smart and think I need a lower interest rate - you have snooped too
much - get out of my personal business. I DO NOT NEED A LOWER INTEREST RATE
AND YOUR 6% IS NOT NEARLY LOW ENOUGH. You take the liberty of continuing to call us - even though we have tried to be POLITE and say NO THANK YOU - somehow you
do not understand or know the meaning of NO - WHICH PART DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE ''N" OR THE "O"?? It is probably much to difficult question for
you to understand or answer. I have told you that any more calls will be considered
harrassment and legal action will be taken...........see you in court.

Receiving multiple calls a week -and sometimes a day- from this and many other spoofed numbers, never anyone on the line and it hangs up after 15 seconds; always spoofed because it's out of service when calling back. Number is registered with Telus who refuses to do anything about it because the number is not in service. Filed multiple complaints to the CRTC but I doubt they will do anything about it. Being on the DNC list will change nothing, these fraudsters automatically call every possible combination of numbers until they find someone stupid enough to be scammed.

Someone called me with this phone number. He claimed to be a financial institution. He offered me to lower my interests on my credit card. I refused, saying I was busy and didnt have time to talk to him but he wouldnt hang up so I hung'up on him after telling him more than once that I was not interested. He then called me back and asked me if I had a middle finger and to stick it up my ass.
