This number is being used for caller ID. The number was disconnected. Who know where the actual caller with an accent was calling from.

They just called me, guy with an accent. Said I won, asked if I ever shopped at Wal Mart. I said no, that threw him and he switched saying it was Walgreens and Publisher's clearing house. I knew this was a scam from the start so I just kept asking dumb questions and getting him to repeat. If he is on the phone with me, then he isn't getting an 85 year old who might believe him. He started talking about how I was a winner and they knew my info, at that point I said great, thanks for the call and I wait to see the check, bye!

Sad but these scams keep happening because people fall for it. Nothing is free.

It was someone saying he is with Publishers Clearing House and that I won, and wanted to know if I had been notified. Well that's when I disconnected.
