Received a call from a man saying he would lower my interest rate on my total amount on a Citibank & Capitol One Visa and Mastercard account that I had and then said I would have to verify my expiration date on my card, didn't specify the card either. I then said, I don't give this information over the phone and I need to call you back. He said, you can call me back on the caller ID #. I said, what is this number, his voice became louder, he seemed nervous and then he said, 'are you calling me a lier?, you are a lier! (in an indian accent) I said, by that comment you are obviously NOT a professional working for a major credit card company and I am calling the authorities and reporting you and this number now! I hung up.
