I also received the same message saying the same thing. I called back they said they were from IRS filing lawsuit on me for back taxes. I ask what year. They said 2008-2013. Which I replied I paid 2008 they said I paid only the minimum. Now owe fees. I told them I had my letter and confirmation number which they wouldn't accept. I goggled this number and found this. I received a call from 253-245-3197 saying it was the IRS, they had tried contacting me several times before, and they were launching an IRS lawsuit against me. How/where can I turn this into law enforcement and get them busted?

This number called me as well. I called the number back asking me my personal information. I gave him my name and telephone number. Then he started asking me about my date of birth and last of my ss. Once I told him no he got upset and hang up.

I received a call today fr 815-293-8244. Msg said that it's IRS and that they have been trying to reach me....and they are filing a lawsuit against me. 253-245-3197 was the number I'm suppose to call them back.

This company called me from "IRS." Left a frightening machine driven message on answering machine. Was clearly a very poorly devised scam. 253 is area of Tacoma area. Foreign accent: couldn't make it out, but pretty sure Asian. Told me he was in Washington DC at the headquarters. I have the distinct pleasure of knowing that the IRS sends letters first if there are disputes. I asked them so many questions that they hung up. Do not fall for their tricks
