Offered lower interest rate on my credit card. Said he was with Cardmember Services. Wanted to know if I had over $3,000 in debt. I told the man he should know whether I did or didn't. When I told him he wasn't legit, he hung up. A call back to that number says the mailbox is full. Other complaints about the "company" can be found online using their number (253-245-4798). I do have a Visa credit card w A+ Federal Credit Union (Austin,TX) if this is of any help.

"Cardmember services" to lower credit card costs. Claimed association with VISA and Mastercard but when I asked what card they thought I had, they rudely hung up. Because of this I did not have a chance to ask them for no other calls. We have received several calls from "Cardmember Services" all from different phone numbers. It always starts with a recorded message saying this is the "final call" to get lower interest rates on our credit cards.
