I applied for an amazon visa last night and put my phone number and then got this call today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. Doesn't make me too confident in the whole Amazon Visa card.... Call was from 1-253-246-8573 - I have to wonder if any of you also applied for a card before the calls started.

when I answered there was no response and after a few seconds a recorded said "good-by" I am getting sick of all these bogus phone calls. Don't know what kind of place this is.

This number called my phone today and asked for me and when I answered they hung up. Then when I hung up they called right back and did it all over again.
