claimed the DMV reported I am paying to much for my car insurance and to push (1) if i wanted to pay less... So I did and attempted to tell them to take me off their call list. I was hung up on.

The message gave no name, but insinuated some affiliation with the Department of Motor Vehicles, then went on to say that we may be paying too much for our car insurance (which i know the DMV will not call me about, and certainly not on my unlisted cell). The message then said to press 1 to be connected for more information. When i pressed 1, intending to inform the agent that the call would be reported and to be taken from their list, the call was immediately disconnected. i'm afraid they are intending to pull a phishing scheme of some sort.
