Rec'd robocall on my CELL PHONE saying was calling from Costco and that I had been chosen to receive a $500 travel package or discount. Just needed to press 0 to speak to an agent for more information. I did that and was connected to Chris (a male). He verified that this was connected with Costco and was not a 3rd party company. He sounded like he had been eating or something. Didn't sound very professional. I told him not interested in travel at this time and hung up.

After this I called the OFFICIAL Costco Travel number and their answering AI first off said that if I had rec'd a call about free or discount travel from Costco that it was NOT Costco that was calling. Mentioned that their dept. only deals with calls FROM customers and that they do not call out (telemarket). Therefore, whoever called me was a scammer and a spoofer, as number used allegedly belongs to a Puyallup resident and not any company. Cell phone CID only showed the number and Puyallup, WA of course, as number not in my contacts.
