I received several calls on my landline and always hang up in the middle of the message. They called today on my cell phone. I am on the government "do not call list". What good is this list if it does not work to protect us?

they called me at 7: am and it was a robo call concerning credit cards so I hung up. Now I am looking for who it is so I can report them to the feds. On the DNC list and I want to mess with them before I send complaints to federal agencies

According to the Feds, returning a call in order to get off the call list is a bad idea. They have already called you illegally. You would just be confirming that yours is a valid number. That information has value and can be sold to others.

THEY CALLED NO MESSAGE CALLED BACK AND THE NUMBER "NOT IN SERVICE" BUT YET THEY CAN CALL OUT AND ANNOY PEOPLE RIGHT?

They called even though on the DNC list, no message left, and they apparently called from a non working number. I really do wish the feds would throw these people in prison for life at hard labor for there antics. Or maybe life in the electric chair to set an example for others.

it was a recording about a/my credit card. The voice was barely distinguishable. Voice was a female native English speaker.

Machine voice telling me that I can lower my credit card interest rate, and asked me to press 1 to be connected to a live operator. I hung up immediately.
