Was told that I was elegible to receive $9000 in government grant money for free WHEN I called her “bluff” some Asian woman that did not speak very good English she hung up on me!!!

Offered a $9k grant i supoosedly won. I could give my bank acct#, credit card #, or go to Western Union. I knew immediately it was a scam but i let her talk to see where it was going to go. She had an Asian accent.

Got a call from 206-395-6319 (not a real number) from a guy telling me that I was chosen out of 1,500 people to receive a 1 time financial aid grant of $9,000. Gave me a Grant Number of CD375 and told me to call his financial officer at 253-642-6109 (which is a google voice number) aka FAKE! First time I called I got a Mark Forester who sounded like he was stoned and had no clue why I was calling. Then hung-up on me. Called back and got a woman named Michelle, who proceeded to tell me that I had to pay a 1 time registration fee of $250 with the gov't to get this "free grant", to make sure I was who I say I am. LOL...I told her that if it was free and with the gov't there would be no fee. I also told her that she was calling me from a google number, and she agreed it was a FAKE number.

Mark Foster calling to inform me of a 1-time $9000 grant awarded to me, based on American Recovery Act of 2009.
Mark had an attitude with me for asking questions, and told me not to be "scared". Asked how I'd like to receive the funding (Walmart/Western Union), and requested a $250 deposit in order to receive $9000 grant.
