This was identified as "the IRS calling with their final legal notice that the IRS is suing me...call this number back immediately for the file information" ...this is a complete and total SCAM! The IRS wouldn't block their identity on caller ID and would inform you by mail of ANY action being taken. Beware and be advised.

We received message today saying it was IRS and they were filing lawsuit against us, call(253) 777-3440 immediately. Has to be a scam!

left message at phone # above, notification of IRS audit (2nd call), previous one was several months ago. IRS information site states that phone contact will be followed by letter confirmation. Malicious prank or con.

Got call from Jason Black saying that we owed money for a miscalculation in our taxes. Gave a case number and said that 2 notices had been left on our door (hard to leave notices on our door when our gate is chain-locked and we have two 100+ pound rottweillers in the yard. He also said we only had 30 minutes for the call and that an IRS officer would be at our home with paperwork. All of our assets would be frozen until we paid the balance.
