Very strange saying they are a insurance company. Wanting to verify my email? You would think they would just send an email? But seemed to be fishing for more information? I will need to monitor my credit and Accts. I felt uneasy about this call did not seem right? So feel like I need to report this caller!!

Phishng for information under the pretense of acting like they are a insurance company trying to get you a better quote.

I just got a call from this number. They said it was about insurance, they had all of my information, name, address, email information. That they had me verify. I told them I wasn't interested. After the call I felt uncomfortable.
The call could be some sort of credit card scam, to get you to verify information on a recorded line and use that recording to say that you agreed to some kind of purchase. I felt that I needed to report this call.
I will be monitoring my credit card activity and report any unauthorized purchases.
