I have been receiving calls from 254-449-8541, every other day since December 1, 2014. The caller identified himself as Adam Williams and then as David Lyons. They stated they needed to serve court documents and I need to be present. Voice on voice mail was very stern and threatening. They stated they would start at my employment (I am retired) if I was not there then they would speak to my supervisor or go to my family homes to discuss the matter. Then he called again the next morning to confirm that I had better be home at 2 or legal action will be taken. I was waiting along with my 45, and guess what. NO ONE SHOWED UP! He stated I would need two forms of ID's to sign the documents. No no information is given to me. I don't owe anything in collections. I looked into the state court system and no such filing for actions been taken against me. Today David Lyons stated if I do not return his phone call by 2:00 PM I would have a bench warrant issued for my arrest. Internet blogs state these characters are junk debt collectors. The threats and harassment need to stop immediately so I filed a complaint with the FBI. https://tips.fbi.gov/. I called the reference number on the voice mail 855-817-4841, but nobody answers the phone, just to leave you name and phone number, which I did not.

Total scam. I reported them to the FBI, FTC and the Consumer Financial Bureau. Even if they are a collection agency, what they are doing is completely illegal.

Received a call from the woman the day after Christmas (nice) claiming the same thing others said. She never even said what company she was associated with or what she was calling about--just that I was supposed to receive "official papers" on Monday (whatever that means), and that I was being taken to court (I'm a law student so the threat of court doesn't scare me).

I contacted the FTC with both numbers to inform them of this scam. I also looked up the 855 number they asked me to call in the message, and it doesn't register as a business with the BBB. I doubt this is even a debt collector, but whoever is doing this is breaking the law.

Received a call from LARRY GRAHAM yesterday and today stating that he is a private courier in my area and had some paperwork to be delivered today at 2pm. He said that I needed to be there or it would have to be handed back into their office for Refusal - Failed Appearance. Both calls went to voicemail. Said yesterday to call 844-434-8781 to reschedule. Never did say who he works for or what this is in regards to.

These people call and threaten to visit your home, work and other related addresses until they "serve" you some papers. They ask that you have a witness and a valid form of I.D. It has been either a man or a woman, same two voices each time with different names. They only have information on you that you would find on the internet for free anyways. They never showed up, they have been reported to the authorities. They called me in MO from this number which is a TX number claiming to be a local courier (process server). It's a scam to scare you into paying for a debt that either isn't yours or that you may have owed and the SOL has the case time barred.
