This call comes from a VOIP number that has a Belton Texas USA area code. However the number was acquired through a company called Bandwidth.com, and the true location of this person is New Delhi India. They use Gmail, Yahoo, and AOL to send emails, and often the email address they use does not have a name, but instead includes random numbers. The sender uses the name Fabian Cole and claims to be an attorney representing Payday Loan companies who are attempting to collect a debt. He threatens the person with a warrant for arrest, jail time, and other things. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. In the United States debt collection is a civil matter, not a criminal matter. They go through small claims courts where the only consequence is the garnishment of your wages or a lien on your bank account, they cannot have you arrested or put in jail. Only criminal courts do that, and debts are not criminal in the United States.
