No message - retuned the call and get a message that the "number or code you have dialed is incorrect"

Wanted to reduce the interest rate on my credit card. Asked which one and was told all of them. Told them I don't have any credit cards and to remove my number. BTW also let them know I was recording the call since I am on the do not call list. Immediate hang up.

When I called the number back immediately it stated the number dialed is no longer in service (and yes, I rechecked the number and dialed again just to be sure). No cc with them and they didn't leave a message.
