Same thing I have 4 allegations against me and will be arrested within 24 hours If I don't contact them
Scam:
"From the headquarters which will get expired in the next 24 working hours and once it get expired after that you will be taken under custody by the local police as there are four serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action against you. The number to reach us is 260-909-8281. I repeat 260-909-8281. Thank you."
I was at work when I received the initial call, so it went to voicemail. They stated that they are the IRS and the police will arrest me unless I called them back. The message was very hard to hear and understand so I called them back. When the man answered, he said who is this? I said that I missed a call and would like to know what it was about. He then said don't call me anymore. (you can hear that it's a loud call center or they just have a recording in the background to make it sound that way). When I said, "but you called me" and "Can I speak with your manager", he responded with...F*** you, you stupid f***ing b**ch. You are nothing but a f***ing loser. I said "Excuse me"? He then went on some rant and I could not understand him. He disconnected the call. I tried to call again to see if I could get someone else. It was the same man. Obviously, it is a scam. He is ridiculous.
Claimed i was wanted for 4 serious legal violation and wanted me to call them to get further details on the serious charges. LOL
