I had the same experience. I knew it was a scam. Why can't the FBI do something now that they have a number

rude when I refused to give account numbers. He said he was from Card Services and would give me 5% rate on cards. gave me this number (267-515-6148 and employee #7019) to call him. name is Sandy Sullivan. He had an accent that seemed to be Jamaican. The number on my caller ID was actually 208-304-5909. That is an Idaho area code. When I didn't call back right away h called again and now his caller ID # 800-847-2911. Told him to e-mail me info. He asked me for account #'s I started to give (only 1st 6) and stopped. I said now you give me the rest, NO NO he said HE had to verify he is speaking to the right person and can't give out that info. I cut and blocked all numbers in this comment.

Yeah, so I just spoke to Mario. Told him I didn't feel comfortable giving him my credit card number. I asked if I could him back, he gave me the 267-515-6148 phone number. He tried to bully me, for lack of a better term, to give a call right back. If he was calling from the credit card company, he would have had my exact interest rate, no? He guessed poorly. Red flags were all over the place.

recieved call on Dec 22, 2016 - they pass u from one person to the next, each gathering more info and reducing the cost of reducing interest rates and I too, was offered a Discover card - unfortuneately, i took the bait, thankfully my cc company blocked the charge and i have life lock. the first on the line was Alexander Peter ( if thats his real name), 267-515-6148, then transferred to a David at 1-800-692-8310 - My husband just passed away, I am in the process of closing his business and it was 2 days b4 Christmas so I was too distracted to even think that this could be a scam - needless to say, I became exceedingly uncomfortable as I replayed the phone call and decided to call these numbers and was at least able to trace the call from Alexander giving me the info above. Now that I have seen the comments above I realize they have all my info, and if it wernt for the fraud alerts on my cc, I could be in deep trouble. I let you all know how this turns out.

Just got called by this phone number telling me they would lower the interest rate on my credit cards, then they told me I had to pay $890 for a one time "membership" fee! I called and cancelled my cards right away
