I got this call from “Brenda Jackson” with the reference number, and she said to have my bill handy. I smelled a rat, but called anyway. She went through her spiel about enrolling in some program and when I didn’t have my bill handy she hung up. I called back, and she said, “you didn’t have your bill handy there’s nothing I can do for you!“. Total fraud!

Had the same call from a Brenda Jackson., busy woman...and a total SCAMMER...I don't even have access to GAS for an option to buy..BIG laugh Brenda....She called from a different number than the 269 one., JOKE and PIA

Brenda Jackson called and left a message to call back regarding some supply charges on my gas bill. Said to call back at 269 242-2951 with reference number 686508. She did not identify the company she represents but to have my account statement available for review.

I just got a call from 610-991-8925....they left a message on my voicemail, but the person(woman) started talking before the beep so part of the message(who it was from or what it was about) was not recorded.It stated I should call back #269-242-2951 and have a copy of my statement handy. I did not call back but started looking online for the number and found this site. Glad I did not call back as it seems to be a scam call!

I also received this call today from Brenda Jackson and yes my caller ID showed it came from 815-324-7698 but my call back number was 269-242-2951. I used my work phone to return the call thinking they had dialed the wrong number and was prompted to choose if I was a Consumer's Energy or DTE Energy customer or if I used propane. When I chose the appropriate number it tells me the number has been disconnected and hangs up.
