I also received a call from this number but when I do not recognize a number, I won't answer the call. I figure that if it is important then they can leave me a message. But this person did not leave a message and I blocked this number on my phone. I figured it was most likely a scam, especially because the call also came from so far away from where I live.

Got a call from them today. When I informed them that my phone was on the Do Not Call list and that I was going to report them to the State Attorney General, the guy said I could report them to whoever I wanted and launched into a tirade of profanity. I finally hung up.

calls my home and cell phones. So much for the asswipes at the FTC/FCC and their useless do not call list. Worthless US Government only concerned about who can piss wherever they wish.,

This number has called me more than once offering to "lower my credit card interest rates". They start the call by saying we are calling regarding your credit card to make it seem as if I actually have a card with them. Then they ask if you want to lower your rates. Feels like a scam to me.
