This call woke me up this morning and a pre-recorded woman's voice informed me this call was to let me know of the lawsuit the IRS has filed against me. Or us. Or whomever answered the call, apparently. It came in identified by by TWC landline as a wireless number, yet the lovely woman told me to call that number back because it is their office number. Okayyyy. I'll get right on that.
Caller: Scammer pretending to be IRS
Just received call 7-21 of same thing telling me i had 2 options pay 9K or go to Washington DC to fight it. Told him I am going to DC and hung up.
Caller: A man with an Indian accent.
Scam alert: I got a call from this number claiming that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me.
