we just received this call too! my mother in law got one. um they need to learn how the irs works. they would send out a letter before a call. nice try scammer!

I got a similar call today from 270-984-8726, from Alex Ferguson, Enforcement Actions, saying from the U S Treasury, and wants us to cooperate about a Federal Offense. Left a detailed message. Usually no one leaves a message from scam calls. Sounded like had an accent similar to someone from India? I called the number back and a female recorded voice said, not available leave a message. I just hung up.

Just received the same call caller ID is Fort Campbell, KY 270-984-8726, this is a total SCAM. They are trying to get people to purchase loaded bank cards such as Visa, American Express, etc. have you give them the codes and they are in the wind with your money....don't be a victim. Don't even answer the phone unless it's a number you are familiar with..this caller or any caller. And pass the word along to everyone you know, especially the elderly. They pray on people like your grandparents.

I got the call also. When I told him I knew my tax debt he said federal officers would be at my door in 45 minutes to arrest me for the rest of my life. LOL. SCAM!!!!!

Same here. Recorded message implying they are from the federal government, regarding an enforcement action by the US Treasury. Threatening that if you ignore the message you'll be in trouble and urging you to call back.
