calls every day . stop it!!!

They just keep calling

Got a call yesterday from this number. Wasn't by my cell phone so it registered a miss call. This Canadian Pharmacy scam has got to be one big rip off org. Both my wife and I get calls, 10-20 emails a day for buying mis-spelled Viagra... I even tried deleting my old yahoo email address and got a new one. Within 10 minutes of getting my new email address they started again. I have scanned my PC for spyware and it's clean. I have heard they can sometimes piggy back onto your contacts list so don't forward your list when creating a new account. One little trick I use (it stopped 90% of the calls) is to record the "number you have reached is no longer in service" lady which includes those 3 horrible tones at the beginning, and put it on your voice mail. It works even better if you keep your cell phone turned off for days so it doesn't ring and goes straight to the recording. Once their PC hears that the 3 tones it should take you off of their call list automatic. You can use Google search for places to record the out of order messages... Other than that try NOT giving out a real phone number to Gmail, Yahoo, eBay, Face Book. These 4 are easy pray for hackers and I know for a fact eBay gives out your info to almost anyone who requests it. I've read some pretty nutty ways of stopping these calls like screaming at them, calling them names, calling them back, even banging one's phone on the table when their on the phone. Get real.... Like other people here have posted, their from another Country and don't have to play by our rules. Contacting your local Gov. is useless. Interpol international crimes unit Might help but don't hold your breath.
