They called my home phone it was a recording claiming there was legal action against my social security. If your Elderly and receiving SSI / Social Security do not call the number given to you on the recording. Instead call Social Security immediately and report it.

"Dan Brown" called by cell phone 2 days in a row stating my online loan application was approved. SCAM Possible fraud

This is a scam! Hang up if they call & DO NOT call them back.
They say they're calling because I was approved for a Cash Advance loan I applied for online.
This new scam scares me - It is going to scare ALOT of everyday people or their parents thinking someone is trying to use their identity so they will be tempted to call to get more info - DON'T!!! That's the goal of these jerks. They are using this scenario to get your info to use your identity later!
It's highly unlikely anyone applied for a cash advance for me or anyone else who got this call. If in doubt - call the police first - let them investigate don't call yourself!

This jerk said he was "David Brown" and I had applied for a cash advance....I am too smart to do such a thing, and I told them this; a "Steven" then hung up on me!! I am glad they didn't call my cell, for that would have infuriated me even more. Sandra Sanders, Carrollton
