They called me and said if I wanted a reduced interest rate on my credit card they could get it for me. I hung up on them figuring that it was probably a scam. Also blocked the number.

When my cell phone started ringing, I did not know anything about the caller number listed above, therefore I did not answer and let it go to voice mail. When I checked my voice mail the automated Info said I have one voice mail and gave me the number of the caller. The number was as listed above. To here the msg. I was told to press number 1. I did and there was no msg left for me to hear, Via my computer, I tracked this number down. It was some sort of a scam call from Houston, Tx. I live in Florida. Therefore, if you get a call showing this number, BEWARE.

Typical credit card scam.
How this works is, they offer you a deal like lowering your interest rate. If you tell them yes, they will ask you to verify your account by telling them what type of card, your, name number and CSV code and any pin numbers.Don't fall for it!

I knew it was a scam when they called my cell but wanted to speak to a human so I could ask to be removed from their list. When I made that request the guy started saying disgusting things to me, I asked to speak to his supervisor and more abuse occurred, then he hung up. I blocked the number.

Everyday getting calls to my cell phone, a few text as well. .. From several different states.. Claiming they can help me pay off my student loan. ( that I don't have !) Some even have the balls to leave a message ! I just keep blocking them.

Automated call about lowering the interest on my credit card, but not mentioning what card. Supposedly an offer that expired today. Since I've received multiple calls from this number over the past few weeks, I decided to play along and pressed 1 for a representative. In a few seconds, a guy came on the line and said hello. He didn't mention a company name or offer his own. Then he said that he understood that I was interested in lowering my interest rate. I said, "I'm just trying to find out who this is" and he hung up on me. I immediately called back and got a recording saying that it wasn't a working number.

Automated call purporting to be about my credit card, but not specifying what card. Claims to be an offer to lower my interest rate and further claims that the offer expires today. They've called several times, so I decided to play along and pressed 1 for a representative. After a few seconds, a guy came on the phone and said, "Hello, how are you doing?" No company name. Didn't offer his name either. Then he said that he understood that I was interested in lowering the interest rate on my card. I said, "I'm trying to find out who this is" and he immediately hung up.

Received call from this number and did not even answer it.
It would be better to block these numbers by network carrier. It won't be difficult for them technically, I guess.

I listen to the full message. The only option was to press 1. And a man answered and asked how he could help me. I asked I could repeat my number and he said very rudely "for what/" I said so that you will stop calling me. He hung up immediately.
