FMA Alliance- payment reminders
This company called MY
telephone number and asked if i KNEW MY NEIGHBOR AND IF I HAD SEEM THEM AROUND MUCH IN THE APARTMENT COMPLEX. They gave me her name and apartment number. This is one of the practices that needs to stop. First of all I should not have been bothered for something that was not my problem. And second, I should not be aware one of my neighbors is having a problem. I am going to tell the neighbor and suggest she call the proper authorities and report this horrible company.
FMA Alliance is the caller and they are located in Houston, TX. First of all, they are war-dialing....left me hanging for about 10 seconds before a live person came on the line...ILLEGAL! Secondly, they asked for someone who lives in my apartments, but I don't know which apartment. This tells me they are ignorant fools for just looking at the street address without looking at the actual apartment number. So, I suppose they are hoping they will get a hit and some idiot will give up info on one of their neighbors. Or, they call every person with the same last name as yours hoping to get a hit, and once again, you will be foolish enough to help them by giving up info if it happens to be a family member. Collection agencies will use every tactic they can think of, including lying (noooo, really?) to get the info they need. Don't give in to these lying a**holes.
Called and asked for someone who does not live hear.
then told me I was that person.
when I said not I am not that person said "what ever" and hung up on me
