Received SEVERAL repeated calls from 281 702 8593 saying IRS has a lawsuit against me. Called the number, let is ring until it disconnected.
Hopefully, they will be caught and shut down. Very annoying, initially frightening (until you think about it) I don't think the IRS would call with threatening calls.

I also got a call today and was told I was being sued by IRS, to stay on the line. As soon as I told her that I knew it was a scam she hung up. Dirty Rat!! Thick accent as well.

This call caused our 90-year-old friend a lot of anxiety until she called us to check it out. Thank you for this website.

Total scam the phone came in with a +2817028593 with a recording. No option to speak to some one or case number. Don't fall in the trap. At first it was alarming but after doing research on web comes out that it is a scam that has called thousands of individuals.

i call them back and a women pick it up and i say why are you sue me then she hung up on me. 281-702-8593. but they call me 4 times today. scam scam scam

They called and left a message at 6:44 am today. The message was just saying how I needed to call back immediately about a case I had. HA! This is the third time I've been getting these types of calls from Different numbers. I will report this number just like the last, there is a special website on the IRS site specifically for these IRS scam calls. I suggest everyone floods them with these scam numbers!

SCAM

Called at 6 AM and claimed I was being sued by the IRS. I called back out of curiosity, spoke with a very belligerent person who spoke almost no English & who would answer no questions put to him. Claimed a warrant was being issued for my arrest & assets seized unless I paid $5k to his "accountant". 'THIS IS THE LAST DAY OF YOUR CASE, THEY ARE COMING TOMORROW': No thanks, pal.

I have received two calls today with the same automated message stating " this is a final notice, we are from the IRS". I have allied back to tell them off but it just continues to ring. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Just got this call. They left a message that IRS was filing suit against me. SCAM< SCAM< SCAM!!!!

Yes, they called me and actually left a message saying the IRS was filing charges against me.

I got the call also just now. The IRS sends letters, they dont sue they audit. Its a scam.. I understand if answer you get asked for a credit card to pay it off cheap... It's a SCAM
