Called, I answered and the line disconnected.
Called back and got system that informee this was a telemarketer selling auto warranties. Both of my vehicles have warranties from MANUFACTURER I purchased directly through them, not a dealer.
When I spoke with an operator I asked to be removed from their system and stop calling for sales. They kept asking for my name and address, but I only have my number, as I kept being told that they needed to confirm my identity to stop the calls, even though I don't have any connections with them other NWS attempting to solicit my business
Claims to be from the "warranty department" with office in Orange County CA. No other name, no city, no phone, no websitr. Can hear call center in background. Number is Houston number but person calling is not in TX and noy in Orange County. CA.
When operator came on just asked for someone then ended call. Clearly a false caller id and scam call.
