Yep, Called me to. Said he was a certified Microsoft technician and that they were getting complains that my computer had the Trojan virus.

I received the same call on December 9,2015.

Sounded legit. He walked me through the process. Got $450 from me for a one time payment for a 3 year deal. Promised to call once per month. Called January- i was about to call too. My computer was unprotected again. Walked me through again. Tried to call since then. The number is always busy or no one answered. Got an alert that my computer is now 42 days unprotected. I need my money back!!!! This is embarassing. I have an email receipt from K MAX IT professionals. I'm reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I work hard for my money. Don't get scammed like me!!!

I got a call to tell me I had a virus. I asked if it was contagious and he said no it was the computer that had a windows virus. Told him I was not near my computer and asked him to call back. He asked when it would convenient to call and told him 6PM on Monday. He called at 10AM on Monday and I told him he had to follow instructions as I had told him to call me at 6PM and I hung up. He called back at 6 but I was not home and he's called back on Tuesday and Wednesday. I see his number when he calls. Let him waste his time.

The same scammer called me saying that he was from Kankix Solutions on behalf of MicroSoft Windows support. I think that he said his name was Rav. The number he was calling from (1-213-337-0014) said that the company was: MCI ITSS TELESY. He tried to convince me that my computer had a "koobface" virus that they needed to fix. I told him that my computer was fine, and that I was going to call MS directly. Then I hung up .
