Offered the ability to lower credit card interest rates
credit card consolidation and interest rate reduction; when the voice prompted me to press 1 to speak to operator or 9 to opt-out of receiving calls, the system did not accept my entry (therefore leaving me unable to opt-out or speak to someone about removing my number).
Called my personal cell phone. No message left. I have not granted permission for anyone from this number to contact me.
From what I have ascertained from researching the number, this is a credit card rate reduction "service."
RECORDED MESSAGE implied that they are calling from my credit card company saying: "Hi, this is Jennifer with consumer services calling in regards to your current credit card account. There's no problem with your account, however it is URGENT that we speak with you about lowering your rate. Press 1 now to speak with a live operater about lowering your rate. Press 9 now to be removed from further notices."
