Credit card services
Credit card interest rate lowering phishing scam.
Credit card interest rate lowering phishing scheme. 1. called a cellphone = $500 fine. 2. called number on do-not-call-list = $500 fine. 3. refused to identify company = $500 fine. Refused to put me on company do-not-call list = $500 fine. Refused to send me copy of company do-not-call policy = $500 fine. Attempted identity theft from out of state/wire fraud = Federal felony requiring prison term for operators.
I have received more than 550 "lower your credit card interest rate" calls on my unlisted - Do Not Call registered cell phone. They are now calling 4 to 5 times per day. These calls have been increasing ever since the FCC has taken action against the 9 robocall spammers.
Slapping them with a fine that they do not have to pay isn't going to deter them at all. You need to go after them in CRIMINAL court for the advance fee fraud and the identity theft.
Credit services. Card interest rate reductions.
