Genuine Social Security Administration internal wizards use this number as caller ID to confirm upcoming SS Retirement Benefits direct deposits will commence on the agreed month. I had paperwork that confirmed his given name and other knowledge that he couldn't spoof, so it's GENUINE. Your mileage might vary of course.
