we keep getting a fax signal from this number to our house which is 302-378-3808

The person to this number called my cell claiming that they were form Blue Cross Blue Shield and that her name was Carolin. She stated that she had account information but not sure who account it belong to. Since my husband was the one to answer he gave out my full name and asked if I need to call back to just redial this number. When I tried to call the number it stated that the line was not available. I tried to verify that it was from Blue Cross but came up short. I wondering if this was some sort of scam.
