Vacation travell
phony medicare call
Called again this afternoon. This time I answered. Caller was a male who called himself Michael (with an E Indian accent). Claimed he was from Medicare and that they were sending me a booklet about Medicare. Also said I was being sent knee and back braces. Asked for my height & weight. He then asked if I'd rec'd my new Medicare card. I said I had. After talking about braces, he asked for the Medicare number. At that point I told him I didn't think this was legitimate and that I didn't need or want braces. I then hung up and blocked the number. CID showed the phone # and "Not Available."
Rec'd call this afternoon. I didn't answer and call picked up by answering machine. No message was left, however. CID only showed phone # and "Smyrna DE."
