I received the same exact call as Bruce. The message was verbatim. He called my cell phone number, not home number.

Yes, this is a scam - here is a copy paste of the voice transcript - These guys are scum of earth - ignore them. IRS will never do this - they always send written notice .. The caller has an Indian accent . I can confirm this since I am Indian too and I have confirmed by exchange some words in native language with the ass who is making these calls.

Tired of getting these call threating me about the IRS. Something needs to be done about this. I was left a message that said unless I corporate with them I could be prosecuted and I need to contact them asap. This has been going on for months different number same comments.........always a foreign person leaving the message. I have tried blocking and a new number shows up.
