Credit card rate reduction services. Can't the FCC or FTC do anything to stop this annoyance? I'm getting about a call a day on my personal cell phone from these people, from different numbers. What's the point of filing these complaints if you don't do anything?

The message was pre-recorded, about lowering my credit card interest rate. I pressed "1" to get to the live person, and on the first 2 occasions I asked to be on their do not call list. When I asked for more about who they were today, they hung up. This is very annoying. Please stop them!

The call is promoting a fraudulent credit service. They say they are from "cardholder services" and if you have a visa, mastercard, or other credit card they can lower your rates. They mislead people to think they are calling from a credit card company the victim has an existing relationship with, when they are really just fishing for strangers.
