Caller wanted me to think they were from a known credit card company and they wanted to lower my interest rate. I get several of these calls everyday from different numbers I assume to be spoofed caller ID numbers. Call starts out with a recording and you are asked to push 1 to speak to an operator. Once operator comes on and the moment they realize you're not buying their line, they immediately and rudly disconnect.

they call me at least 4 times per week, i'm going to do what i used to do. answer phone like i'm vulnerable and troll them for 10 minutes with misc. info until they need my card number, then tell them keep calling i can waste their time better than they keep calling me on a dnc call list

The first number said that they were calling about my credit card... (Card Services) and the second number called with a recorded message that said i was carefully selected for a political opinion servey and I was got a free trip for answering the servey. I stayed on the line to see who it was. No one answered.
