"good news, I am eligible to reduce my credit card interest rates" (FYI, I don't carry balances- also whenI tried to "0" out to tell them not to call any longer, I was transferred to a voice mailbox that was conveniently filled and could leave a message; this is about the 4th time in two weeks I received this call)

They were trying to get me to lower my credit card intrest rates, yet Ido not know who the company is and I know for certain it's not my credit card company because in the past when this number has called I called HSBC to ask what this message was about.

It was a recorded call from "Ann, at Cardmember Services" offering a lower interest rate. No option to opt out was offered. Received the same calls from 425-390-8156 four times on 3/6/12, from 386-202-2002 on 2/23/12.

The company name is Cardmember Services, and they call promoting the availability of lower credit card rates. They provide an option where you can opt out of future calls, but, apparently it is a ruse, does not work, and I continue to get call after call. The calls originate from several locations around the country, meaning I get multiple calls. On a couple of occasions, I have pretended to be interested in getting information about the product in order to get information about the company in order to file a complaint and to ask them not to call me. The representatives get very evasive, do not want to give any information about their company, address, etc....and then get very rude and hostile, finally hanging up on me.

I'm sick and tired of the intrusions, and I want the calls to stop and I want them to respect my "do not call" status!
