Just happened to us also. I'm an oncology nurse navigator and my husband said he would be willing to donate if she sent information and he had a chance to confer with me about the charity. She said "I understand" and wrapped up the phone call instead following up on the offer to donate if it was a real charity!

Says she is from breast cancer fund. But she started out asking for someone else, then when I said wrong number, she said "well maybe you can help me". Very deceptive business practice!!!! Sketchy as all hell.

Called my cell phone, said it was a charity looking to raise money to help breast cancer patients pay for medications. She asked if she could send me an envelope to make a donation. When I asked how she got my phone number, she hung up. Number leads to a "fundraising center".

Called my cell phone, while I was at dinner.
No message left, No idea who/what call was about.
No message left. Do not and will not answer calls I
do NOT recognize the number to.
