This robo-generated voice claims to be the IRS. The IRS ALWAYS contacts persons by mail, in writing. We have been awakened at 5 AM by this nuisance number; sometimes it is a man with an accent, sometimes it is a normal-voiced woman. One day, different caller, same scam, called three times and left messages. Congress should outlaw this type of caller and conduct public service announcements on TV and radio stating that IRS will never phone and say "This is your last chance" or "THis is your last call" (it never is) "from the IRS" because then maybe these calls would stop.
