asshole called in the am, rang five times, hung up.
this line does not have voicemail.
this number if spoofed: not in service
I have been recently getting calls like this on my phone also. The fellow who posted earlier is right. These are just test calls by a phone company. I am in the process of porting my number and that is when I started getting these calls. Inetmedia used to run two different companies www.iax.cc and sixTell.net, both of them are VOIP service providers. They have since been bought by Vitelity who is also a VOIP provider. All these companies offer wholesale service which is used by many different providers, so even if you aren't associated with them directly a company you are using probably is. They need to place these calls to see how things are working and routing. That is how they keep their system up. Hope that helps.
Apparently it has started again. The call came at 5:36 CDT in Oklahoma.
This call comes in being listed as Inetmedia, LLC. When I call the number back it says this number has not been allocated. This calls are coming in at 2:00AM evey morning.
Ok, I got to the bottom of it. I am in the process of porting the number these calls were coming in on from one provider to another. Apparently, the new provider sends out test calls on the FOC date to test if the port has happened. In this case they had mis-coded it and the test calls were going out weeks in advance of the FOC date. They have been advised of their problem and the calls seem to have ceased.
