Got a call today from them (4/27/2021) and a woman asked for me by my first name and asked if I was interested in a position as a life agent with NY Life on Long Island; I informed the woman calling that I was a financial advisor. She went ahead with her pitch; I tried to be polite and said “I’m happy where I am;” but she pushed and I agreed to take the appointment even though the location was far from me. I did end up going to the DO Not Call link from them and put my number in there.

I was called this morning, asked if I sell insurance. I informed the rep I really did not want to confirm this and asked nicely to be removed. The jerk had the audacity to say "You'll have to call your state to be removed. You don't want any help" then hung up. Please tell me why I would want any thing to do your rude rep and your terrible marketing pitch? Nothing about this call was okay and I do not appreciate being spoken with in such a rude manner.

Nice guy called with an agency ownership opportunity from Farmers. Maybe you all should listen to what the person on the other end of the phone has to say, instead of making ignorant assumptions.
