A company identified only as "card services" calling in an attempt to likely phish credit card information. A recorded message claims that I am qualified to receive lower rates on my credit card, although I have no credit card so I know they are cold calling me. When I press 1 in order to talk to an actual person they eventually ask for credit card numbers in order to "confirm my information." When I ask to be removed from their calling list and inform them that I am on the national do not call registry, I am often simply hung up on and inevitably I receive yet another identical phone call within days. The calls come from numerous different numbers, which makes simply blocking a reoffending number impossible. They are always generating new numbers to call from and show up on my caller ID. This happens on a daily basis now and has been occuring for nearly a year now. Please find out who is responsible for this and prosecute them without mercy for this unrelenting nusiance!

A chance to lower interest rates

They tell me my credit is in good standing but that I need to contact them immediately about my credit. Then they tell me they can lower my interest rates. If I speak to a live operator after the recorded message and tell them I'm on a do not call list, they immediately hang up. If I question them on how they got my number and who they represent they hang up. I report almost every number they call from as often as I can and nothing stops them.

Called themselves "Cardholder Services" advising that I could adjust my interest rate downwards. This is around the 100th call I've gotten from this scammer.

They say 'nothing is wrong with your account.....' They want to help by giving a better credit card rate. Don’t have any account with them. Receiving 2-4 calls a day from these guys. The pre-recorded messages to the cell phones are using minutes from our plan – that is illegal.

The caller was offering me a way to reduce my current credit card debt.
