same thing as above first it was a company and then a so call lawyer called my mom trying to sue her for $4,000 and stating she ordered a product in the amount of $450 and that she better take the package which was cheaper than paying the court fees. Once Ups came to the house she did not open the door, the lawyer called again my mom did not answer this time they were very rude and threaten my mom to call immigration that is was part of their job to report immigrants, my mom is US citizen so I for sure knew it was a scam then to scare people. These people are trash I hope they find them and burry their asses in jail
This company called my elderly mother as well with the same scam. File a complaint with the FCC and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Individual that called my mother, Alejandra Gomez, refused to provide any contact information (mailing address, fax). She also implied that she was an attorney (said she's a liciencada in Spanish, which in Latin America, attorneys are often referred as such). Checked with the FL State Bar and there is no licensed attorney by that name in Florida. File with the FCC, CFPB and check with your state's Attorney General's Office!

ALERT! SCAM, phone call!! I don’t just want to report this on a scam website. I want to report them to the police!
On Friday I received a scam phone call. They told me a company was suing me for $4,000! If I didn’t want to go to court I could pay a “good faith” fee, of 1% of the claim which is $400. This has never happened to me before, so I got so nervous, pissed, and almost cried on the phone (He spoke so real), told him I would call him back because I was at school picking up my kid. When I called back, I asked for an address, he didn’t want to give me one. So then the light in my head went on, “wait this can be a scam”. So I kept asking why don’t you want to give me an address, he gave me a lot of BS. So I started googling this number and it’s a SCAM!
Solution? I want them to stop doing this because they are calling a lot of people. Some people DO NOT have google to look them up or these people may pray on innocent people who may get really nervous and just pay them over the phone. The phone call was in Spanish, they may lie to elderly people who would just pay to not get in trouble with the law. I don’t just want to report this on a scam website. I want to report them to the police! Is this what needs to be done or what should I do?
